Present at the NYC Consensus this year, 2018, NeuroChain’s Bruno Delahaye and Billal Chouli were thrilled to meet with investors, supporters and community members. The NYC Consensus is the largest US blockchain-focused event of the year.  The event is attended by almost all the prominent people in the crypto currency world: investors, startups and players in the finance industry.

Many early stage exchanges were present, Kraken and a few of the larger ones held booths. Large corporations such as SAP, IBM, Deloitte, Microsoft and AWS made key announcements,  highlighting their strategic focus on Blockchain.“Blockchain is hard” was the introduction made by guest speaker Steve Cerveny, the CEO and founder of Kaleido. Kaleido is a Blockchain Business Cloud service that promises to simplify the creation and operation of private blockchain networks, while bringing it into the mainstream. The session ended with the Deloitte Blockchain team concluding “It’s hard but it is worth it”.Glocal Citizen Consensus 2018On day two, amongst the many big players on stage was Simon Moss discussing The Global Citizen project which leverages Blockchain to support charity initiatives. Supported by many people in the blockchain community, this project gives the perfect incentive to continue the mission to push Blockchain into the heart of our daily lives.NeuroChain is certainly very supportive of these type of initiatives and is already a partner of PURE Projet, a global reforestation initiative led by Tristan Lecomte.
