As an Supply Chain Professional, you will be expected to work in one of several different roles, including Demand Planning, Materials Management, Business Operations, Manufacturing Support or Transformation. Your responsibilities can range from ensuring accurate demand planning to support client orders, implementing materials management strategies to optimize cost and inventory, supporting the build and delivery of our products, to interfacing with global contacts to optimize the supply network performance depending upon your role. You will have the opportunity participate in the implementation of advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, or IoT and to lead adoption of new ways of working through Agile and Design Thinking practices. You will have vast opportunities to develop supply chain expertise, technological acumen and leadership skills.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Basic knowledge in supply chain and information systems
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering, or an MBA, or have equivalent/relevant experience

The Supply Chain Leadership Program (SCLP) is a 3 year rotational leadership program designed to recruit extraordinary talent and develop future leaders, with the opportunity for a 6 month international rotation. The participants in the program will be placed in roles which directly contribute to achieving the company’s vision to maximize service to our customers and realize profitable growth, while sharpening overall Supply Chain knowledge. Beginning a career with Owens Corning, participants establish a solid foundation of operations acumen, supply chain process expertise and leadership development through an accelerated development process across multiple businesses and sites.

Customer Operations – This function works with customers on a day-to-day basis to develop and sustain relationships with our customers that create profitable growth for our customers and Owens Corning. The servicing of customer orders requires direct and continuing interaction with all aspects of the Owens Corning supply chain, including sales, business management, operations, logistics/transportation and operations planning.

Logistics – This function links Owens Corning products to end uses that create value for our customers. This organization leverages distribution, minimizes unnecessary material movement, and maximizes service value within the diversified businesses of Owens Corning. This includes leading efforts to reduce costs, providing reliable best-in-class service, and managing carrier relations and capacity.

Materials Planning – This function plans the manner in which the Supply Chain will operate in the short-term and long-term. Roles within this area may be accountable for a number of responsibilities involving micro and macro forecasting, production planning, inventory management & turns, and Supply Chain waste reduction. This includes leading efforts to reduce cost, provide material availability for maximum customer service, and leading communication efforts throughout the various stakeholders within the Supply Chain.

Manufacturing – This function is responsible for producing the finished goods that our customers use and value. Manufacturing focuses on safely and efficiently producing quality products for our customers. This includes leading efforts to increase productivity through the elimination of non-value-added steps in the manufacturing process while making products that meet our customers’ needs.

Continuous Improvement: This function reports into the Supply Chain PMO and is accountable to drive continuous improvement for Owens Corning from Customer service, demand and supply planning, scheduling to logistics. Different continuous improvement techniques in areas of analytics and planning will be levered. This function delivers value and productivity through Value stream mapping, process flow, root cause analysis, TPM and several Project management tool.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent field
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Previous relevant internships/co-ops in an operations setting
Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations
Willingness and flexibility to relocate

Join the NeuroChain Blockchain team as a developer, based in San Francisco, and contribute to solving these interesting problems. This is a unique opportunity to make a big impact in both NeuroChain and the IT industry!

Blockchain is a new technology that enables businesses to work together with a lot more trust, resulting in lower cost, faster transactions and less risk. You will be developing solutions on top of our NeuroChain Blockchain platform and the Linux Foundation’s Hyperledger Project. You will work closely with our solution architects, designers and client engagement experts to transform business processes and markets using Blockchain.

You will develop innovative solutions with clients in a variety of industries, such as Financial Services, Public Sector, Retail, and Transportation. We believe in small multi-disciplinary teams of developers, architects, designers, and industry experts that collaborate together in short sprints and iterative cycles. This role will involve significant client interaction and outputs may be used for board level demonstrations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

BA/BS in Computer Science or similar Technical subject
Must have examples from several client-facing projects or NeuroChain product development, which demonstrate strong technical understanding and an increasing amount of leadership experience
Prior C or Go programming experience useful, Java or Javascript experience desirable
Working knowledge of Ubuntu, Docker, and using a vagrant environment. Must be comfortable using Github
NeuroChain product understanding preferred due to breadth of customer environments this technology brings
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, including strong presentation skills
Excellent time management, organizational and collaboration skills

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Experience with Node.js is highly desirable. Experience with UI frameworks like Express framework a plus
Experience of using the NeuroChain platform desirable, but not required.
Self-taught experience of using NeuroChain Blockchain, Hyperledger or Ethereum a plus
Experience of working with design thinking techniques in iterative sprints is useful
NeuroChain Middleware product understanding preferred due to breadth of customer environments this technology brings

Working within NeuroChain’s product organization, the Product Manager assistant will be responsible for delivering on-time and on-budget feature functionality exceeding client expectations. Our ideal candidate has an interest in representing the voice of the customer, is self-motivated and driven, and has technical and logical acumen. Responsibilities will include:

Leading feature/functional development covering all phases of development
